About The Hartford Family Institute Staff
Hartford Family Institute (HFI) has been a cutting edge Psychotherapy and Training Center since 1969. The Psychotherapy created and practiced here is a combination of in-depth body emotional work, energy healing, shamanic spiritual healing and trauma work. It is called In-Depth Body Psychotherapy and Subtle Energy Healing and is referred to as HFI THERAPY.
Hartford Family Institute has evolved into Hartford Family Institute’s Center for Healing Arts, (“The Center”), which provides not only this unique psychotherapy, but also offers healing in many other modalities. All practitioners at the “The Center” share a common belief in the healing effect of aligning our energy. We also share a common vision and concern for people’s emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
We have expanded over the years to become a community of five Partners, three Associates and many Independent Practitioners. In addition to our primary location in West Hartford, CT., the Founding Partners have educational and training sites in Kansas City, MO. and New York.
Hartford Family Institute’s Center for Healing Arts is about aliveness, joy and holding people’s pain in the energy of compassion. We help build emotional supports that enhance aliveness and feelings of confidence. We make room for power, clarity of vision and passion. We create a space to support dreams so that love can blossom, allowing our clients to reach beyond what they thought was possible. We believe that wounds created by childhood trauma, that result in emotional pain and physical illness, can heal through psychotherapy, energy healing and alternative health programs so that our clients, students and practitioners aliveness can be deepened and relationships can be based on realness, love and empowerment.
